What Performance gain should I expect to see when mounting the K&N cone filter to the compressor housing?

Compared to what alternative?
Direct to compressor housing or with couplers/tubing to get it away from header/manifold heat?

Limited space so it would direct mount. Referring to the K&N filter you sell.

Alternative was the screen filter.

It won't gain power over a screen but it will filter out WAY more debris than a screen (which really only keeps out rocks/gravel).

RE-0930 K&N 6"cone wasn't going to fit so looks like I'll look for a shorty cone or screen. You have any recommendations, Brand & part# on either type.

Looks like there should be room for a filter, just need to measure the space available and grab a cone that is large enough to support your power goals but fits in your area.

I just went ahead and ordered a turbo-guard screen filter for now. Will look into filter options through K&N with my specific measurements.
