Shannon in a previous thread you mentioned adding course steel wool to the inlet. With my moroso can it has some in the bottom of the can, were you referring to adding additional material to the actual inlet fitting. Since Iām running the motor with the hood off I can see the mist coming from the can filter, which was actually oil mist? From the separator 1ā hose to can then 3/4ā to valve cover.

Steel wool in the bottom does very little. If it's in the top then it gives something for the mist to stick to before it escapes. It doesn't have to be in the fitting itself, just in the top so air can't get in/out without passing through it.

Got it. Went and removed the filter and the internal steel baffle was all at the bottom of the can. pulled it up and out slightly then put the filter back on.
