So I just picked up a set of motorcraft wires. Resistance #s varied quite a bit on the 20K scale. 12.3 / 28” 20.2 / 31” 17.2 / 28” 15.1 / 31” Is this an acceptable range or take them back for another set?

They have a lifetime warranty so there is no harm in running them.

What’s an acceptable resistance range? I’m not going to be running High boost (20lbs) tops.. autolite 104 copper plugs gapped to 28 or 30? Thanks

I've never measured a bad set so I don't know definitively. I know they have more resistance than aftermarket stuff but our ignition system seems to be OK with that.

Good to know on the lifetime warranty. I ran duralast wires just for the breakin phase and had come to see that the Retaining clip that retains the wire to the plug had stretched? so the wire wouldn’t even seat securely on the plug.

I assume they are still lifetime, they always used to be but I haven't checked in a few years.

The good old days when products had that lifetime warranty.
