It fired and ran a little rough for about 6-8 seconds. The injector firing is correct, as is the coil firing order.
I'll get a log to you tomorrow, Shannon- it actually sounds as if I've got the cam timing off.
When I originally timed it, I used a tdc tool and Esslinger's cam bar; I cant imagine it being off, but I'm human.
Question: when I planned on using turbo pete's crank trigger, I didn't worry about lining up the aux shaft gear- now that I'm using CAS, does it matter?

The aux gear position doesn't matter but the CAS phasing does (though that's likely right if it ran).

I just found your Cold Start" basics info on here- I'll try tweaking that.
Thanks, Shannon.

After finding that plug #2 was as white as new, I ran a compression test (all 4 dead on 90 psi). I figured it has to be fuel related.
Turns out, there was just enough vintage (2016) e85 in the fuel rail to make the dreaded goo. Pulled the entire fuel system tank to injectors, cleaned the injectors with the wonder sauce (acetone/tranny fluid, 50-50 mix), it idles perfectly.
Nice job on the base map start up, Stinger.

Good to hear.
Do another compression test now that it is running (but have the engine be warm this time). Compression should be around 150psi, not 90.
