I'm gearing up to install a PimP ECU this summer, and I still need to buy injectors and install a fuel pump. In the meantime, I'd like to keep driving my car. Am I asking for trouble with this combo? LA3, 35lbs injectors, 10-13psi boost with: Schlodes Ported stock valve head (newly installed) Esslinger 450 Cam (newly installed) Ported intake NPR Intercooler Stock T3 Ported E6, 3" Stinger Downpipe Any criticism appreciated Idle Video. photos.app.goo.gl/Ldk5EVPeBKvZojC6A

You just need a wideband so you can tell if it's going lean or not. Since you need one for the PiMP anyway, there is no harm and plenty to gain by installing it now.
What you'll find is you'll have to keep the boost low (13 is likely too much) but as long as the boost is low enough to keep the AFR safe, you're not asking for trouble.

I had boost up to 17 before the head and cam were installed.
I'll probably disconnect my manual boost controller and hook the line from the wastegate right to the compressor housing for now and keep an eye on the AFR.
Hope to be posting in the pimp section soon. 😎

Yeah, what you ran before doesn't matter. The whole point of porting and a bigger cam is to make the engine more efficient. This means it will make the same power at lower boost and the injectors can only support "x" power regardless of mods.
