I have the aluminum round tooth timing gear set getting ready to go on the new motor (very nice gear set btw). The cam gear came with a new bolt and two washers. I can understand one washer to go between the bolt head and cam gear but where does the second washer go? Between the backside of the cam gear and cam? There weren't any instructions and I didn't happen to find anything online. Appreciate any input here

There have been a few different designs for this kit that used different bolts and such so I don't know for sure which version you have. There will never be a washer that goes behind the gear. If both are the same then it's likely just an extra that made it in the package. If one is smaller then they stack under the bolt.

Thanks Stinger; both are the same size so I just used one for the cam gear. I didn't check when I was wrenching on it yesterday but maybe that extra washer is for the aux. shaft gear bolt? I'll take a look next time I'm out there
