The pre-sold units "should" go out next week. The rest of the first batch should be ready the following week.

Hey Shannon
Is the other connector in the microsquirt mainboard....is that 25pin Serial?

Whoever else used that particular O2 sensor, did you use the piece with the 2 indicator lights that came with it? How did you wire it to the car? With the plug that is already in the factory O2 sensor? Just cut and splice into them? The piece with the two indicator lights is the actual wideband controller. This is the piece you must actually wire in. I will get a picture this weekend of the wiring suggested for plug and play via the factory O2 sensor wiring. Bascially at the o2 sensor you have 3 wires on your TF. Two will be the same color, and 1 will be a different color. The two that are the same color are the heater wires. With a meter, find which is the positive, and which is the ground. You will be using these wires for power and power ground on your wideband. The third wire should have continuity to EEC pin 29. You then clip the plug of an old O2 sensor, and connect the appropriate wires of the wideband two them. Viola, your wideband is connected. The only other wire to run is the analog signal ground, which I recommend connecting to clean underhood sheetmetal, or one of the specific EEC ground connections on your car. That sounds thoroughly easy! When you say clip the plug of an old 02 sensor, wouldn't the factory sensor I'm replacing work? Thanks! But a pic is still nice for visual learners like me!

Hey Shannon Is the other connector in the microsquirt mainboard....is that 25pin Serial? Travis Yes, that is the expansion connector. It is to support things that are not supported with factory/plug and play wiring. IE, crank sensors, waste spark ignition (must use smart coils or external ignitors), cam sensor, sequential fuel, nitrous control,etc....)

Question about the wiring.
since the PIMP doesn't use the VAM, what happens if I remove those wires from the harness? Any other wires that a PIMP won't use that are in the factory harness?
I'm getting ready to unwrap, inspect/test and repair one I bought off a guy on Corral and I think the VAM wires are exposed so instead of repairing I might just remove them.
Thanks,
Chris

As stated elsewhere in this thread, the ACT sensor (if your harness doesn't already have a plug for one) wires through the VAT wires of the VAM harness. Ultimately it doesn't matter how the ACT is wired in though, as long as they end up at the right pins at the ecu plug.
You can remove as many unused wires as you want but I'd suggest not going too crazy on it unless you have a PIMP in your hands to verify what pins are being used for some of the items.
