so i might have come into owning another merkur with a built motor that comes enought new performance parts over size ss valves and stage 3 cam and such. the car itself has same parts in it running a huge holset. my main question is if there is a hp limit on the cast iron head and with stage 3 cams how reliable are they built

Also, how reliable are what built? The cam, the head, what?

the iron head. ive herd alot of talk about them cracking and i want to avoid that as much as possible

They don't crack from too much hp, they crack on bone stock engines because of a lack of valve seat inserts and the heat a turbo puts on the exhaust valve.
