Pipe threads are weird. Like a 3/8 npt if u measure it, it is bigger then half inch . If you google npt you should find a chart that will give you a idea if you measure it what size npt you need. Least that way you won't waste money trying to find the right plug. Or just measure it and I'll see if I have a die for it and I'll just make one.
Or just drill it out and tap it and put a bolt in . More then one way to skin a cat.

There is a chart here: stinger-performance.com/bolts.htmlFYI, a bolt thread doesn't seal air tight so you'd then need to have a rubber washer or something on the outside to seal. A tapered thread is air tight, especially with a little teflon.

thanks for the help yall, i appreciate it. i'll measure it up tomorrow. the only reason i can think to keep it there is incase i rotated the intake and needed to move a sensor, but i will be getting new piping then anyways, so i think its pretty useless to keep it

Could just throw a second air intake sensor in to a gauge just to see what the intercooler dose

Could just throw a second air intake sensor in to a gauge just to see what the intercooler dose hmm, interesting idea. i may do that. but the most recent issue ive run into is the fact that i realized that ihave a IHI turbo, and T3 elbow. so now i need to find a T3 or an IHI elbow. although i should upgrade to a T3 anyways

Bo has a good price on garret t3 mite be a t3/t4 . thanks, i appreciate it. im actually picking up a factory XR4 T3 from a member here for now. i'll upgrade to a hybrid down the line a bit, its out of the budget for now although i have a question regarding the XR4TI T3's. i understand they are watercooled, but can they be solely oil cooled? not looking to run water lines to it

Yes, you can run them without water cooling if you want.

ok, another stupid question. im going to be assembling the intakes this week, as well as the rest of the motor early next week. so all the sensors from the straight intake will swap over, but i need to buy thr ACT sensor. does my NA have that? im assuming no, but will the other sensors work or are they different tolerances? i do plan on swapping the block sensors over

The 91-93 cars have an ACT in the airbox lid. The earlier cars don't.

I'm brings this old one back....
Stinger, on the first page, the last picture, is the ranger radiator sitting on the radiator support or on those 2 "steps" that are mounted lower than the support?
The reason I ask is because I've got a ranger radiator that I've cut off the plastic legs on the bottom and have it sitting on the radiator support. The radiator ends up sitting higher than the lip of the core support and putting the filler neck close to the hood. In your picture the radiator looks a lot lower....

It's been a long time (almost 20 years) since I did this but you can see what it sat on in the 4th pic. That's some a/c condenser brackets bolted to the radiator side of the lower support.
