later this week i will be mocking up and most likely mounting the Ranger radiator and large NPR. i have a general idea of how i am going to do it, but if anyone has tips, especially pictures, they would be greatly appreciated!
and i will be getting a Ranger AC condenser, but not sure how it will mount either

those pics are very useful, thank you! and its good to hear that it will work! i was told at the shop i took the head to i would need to use the ranger unit. this just leaves more money to order parts from yall ;D . need to order some exhaust and a turbo feed line next week.
and as a side question, im trying to decide what gauges i need to run. i was thinking vacuum/boost, narrow band a/f, and a fuel pressure down the road. possibly oil pressure? all of them will me mechanical as well. just not sure which are more important

Certainly vac/boost but I'd look into a wideband (AEM makes a vac/boost and AFR all in one gauge). Fuel pressure isn't necessary to see all the time, just get a cheap diagnostic kit you can use when needed. Oil pressure is personal preference on whether you trust the factory stuff or want a more accurate gauge.

I knew you were going to suggest wideband. My issue with it is $85 opposed to $300. I'm using autometer gauges, as I will be doing a complete cluster build down the road

FWIW a narrow band a/f gauge doesnt really give alot of info. A wideband will tell you exactly how rich or lean the vehicle is running which is really useful for diagnostics or if your going to be doing any power mods. I got my AEM wideband for less then 200$.

I'm using autometer gauges, as I will be doing a complete cluster build down the road While it is more expensive (though you can get a wideband with gauge for $185-190), they are also WAY more useful. The narrowband basically only gives you useful AFR info at idle and cruise below 2800 rpm. At wide open throttle or under boost, the narrowband is useless. A wideband of course gives you precise info under all conditions and is required for any tuning option you choose down the road. |

well i hate cheaping out, and had a feeling that cheaping out here was a no-go. i will grab the wideband and a vac/boost for now, and will wait to do the fuel pressure until i do the 255 pump and larger injectors. and that will wait until a do the t3/t4 and rotate the intake.
next question is the Autometer gauges comes with a Bosch wideband O2 sensor as well. will that be placed where the current is located in the elbow, or is this a seperate one that i will need to drill/tap?

The wideband sensor needs to be 18"+ from the turbo outlet to prevent it from overheating. It should come with a threaded bung that gets welded onto the exhaust.

ok, i will install a bung at the end of the down pipe, that i need to order from yall this week. also, question regarding intake. i just received my square style manifolds and will be porting them this week, hopefully the dremel will work on them. the question is regarding the sensors and EGR. the manifolds are bare, and need all the different sensors and all i have is a old EGR that im sure is bad at this point. does my N/A have the same sensors in the manifold, or can i swap some over from my older straight style that has the sensors? if not, what are they all so i can order them
also just noticed there is a bung in my FMIC tubing, which i found odd

You can reuse your inline intake sensors except for the ACT (which your old intake doesn't have).
What FMIC tubing do you have? If it's ours, it has a bung because you ordered it with the BOV bung option.

They must have used it for the ACT sensor (assuming it's a tapered pipe thread like all of the sensors).

If it's a tapered thread, a bolt won't work...you'd have to get a pipe plug.
