I just got my BPV from Shannon. I replaced my Bosch one (the junk unit that comes with the Forced4 intake) with the nice metal one that Shannon sells. Dramatic imrovement. It is more consistent, and it doesn't flutter the way the Bosch one does. In fact it has a really nice almost bell-like tone when it activates. It was pretty much a direct replacement for the Bosch one, the dimensions are similar enough that everything just fit.
If you are wanting to run a bypass valve, I highly recommend this one.

So quick question. The springs that come with it, are they stronger for different applications? There were no instructions that came with the unit, so I'm just not sure what they are for.

The springs change how "easy" the valve is to get to release (how many psi you have to reach before it releases when you close the throttle). In most cases the one that comes in the valve is just fine and you'll never have to mess with it.

Ok, thats what I figured. I'm having issues getting past 15 psi boost, and I didn't think this was the issue. I can't hear the BPV when I hit this 'limit'. Just wanted to rule it out. I will post this is the turbo tech section.
