2.3t swap, world class T5, (Craigslist Motor and trans hopefully it runs ok!?). Pimp, Stinger Ron Francis wiring. FMIC. 2.5" IC piping. 4.10 gear-(eventually will rebuild with LSD and 3.73). 3" down pipe to 2.5" back exh.
And a lot of welding/fab. my 1-2 day a week project for 1.5+ years
Just hoping to get it started and maybe go for a few drives, to work out the inevitable bugs before the snow fly's here at 8,000+ft and I have to park it for the winter. still not done, finishing up many little details
Depending on how the chassis holds up, maybe HP upgrades with time + money. Doesn't take much to top the original motors 100hp, should be a hoot
Stinger Performance is the best! Great info and customer service. Unparalleled!!!
More pic's to come

Unique is the idea, sleeper vintage Volvo. That's kind of you, honestly I know most of you are thinkin WTF...its crossed my mind a time or two also.
More rubber for sure. damn thing has a goofy bolt pattern 5"x 4.25".
Stock is 5.5" rims, eventually i'll to try and stuff 7.5" or 8" under the rear... so then I can shell the rear end, ha.
Would make my decision easy to upgrade to a 9" !

You could always get the stock wheels widened if you want the sleeper look.

That thing is absolutely awesome. Definitely one of the coolest 2.3T swapped vehicles I've seen!

Thanks! (got more rubber BTW, 17x7's) It's anything but perfect, but I like not having to worry about where to park it. runs well with your PiMP, and the 9:1 comp N/A short block. not ideal, but keeping boost low and a bit rich until I get another block built right, hopefully in time to swap it in come winter. Just driving and enjoying it this summer.
Thanks again for your expertise, between you, turboford, and the couple murker sites, the 2.3T part of the car was a snap!

Cars that don't have perfect paint but are nice enough to photograph well and look good at a glance are "perfect" IMO.
