Ported intake details

Hi, What is done to your ported lower intake? Is there a goal for opening up the runners? Any welding of material to help with the flow at the injectors?

I've seen a few threads on TF and Facebook about what could be done but not a lot of information about why.

We don't weld them, we get them as thin as possible without cutting through in that area. The goal is to get them to flow with your typical ported head or a stock Essy d-port.
