I just acquired a clean 2000 Ranger with a 3.0 on the cheap and have a vision of me applying a touch of boost and beating it to death.. just because. It is soon to be a manual trans and would like to know if running this motor with the PiMP can be configured?
I noticed on the parts website you did list V6 as supported, just want be sure before the order is placed. Thanks!

It's OBD-2 so it's not compatible. Needs to be pre-96 or so to be compatible.

So "plug and play" PiMP is out.. Thinking of doing another Microsquirt build then, I can butcher the harness as needed to tie into. It is already a FLEX truck so gunna try to keep it that way. Is there anything "oddball" about this motor and trigger wheel/cam sensor that this wouldn't work?
Excuse me up front for being OBD 1/2 illiterate.. Guessing the 60 pin is completely different on OBD2?

Yes, OBD-2 is 100 pins instead of 60.
Not really anything oddball. Some of the sensors use different connector types but that's about it.
Keep in mind that we're a full line Megasquirt dealer and we stock cased Microsquirts so we should be able to match/beat any other's pricing.

Do you offer any other wiring options for the Microsquirt other than the 2.3 harness, like the 30" and 8'pigtail? I do believe I am gunna give this project the green light in my demented brain.
Giggidy.

Yes, we are a full line dealer so we can offer all MS products including both of those harnesses. Send me a PM with what you're wanting and I can get you a quote.
