So today after about a hour of straight driving on parkway at about 70 to 100 miles per hour out of no where I start to notice a humming like noise. Sounds to me like it is coming from front passenger wheel but that's a wild guess. It seems when I turn right slightly during speeds in excess of fifty miles a hour it tends to go away . It only makes the hum over around forty . It doesn't go away if I put clutch in or in neutral or any thing I can think of. Basically only if I am turning right does the noise go away. I do have a stock clutch that started to slip like crazyy a few days ago. Brand new tires also. Any thoughts on best way to pin point this . If it's a bad bearing starting would I notice by lifting up front and spinning tires or checking by wiggling ? Thanks in advance

If it's a bearing and turning right makes it go away then that "should" mean it's on the right side as turning takes the load off the inside tire. Whether you'll find it by spinning it in the air depends on how bad the bearing is, and how well calibrated your bearing diagnoser is.

Setting up the cone style bearings is becoming a lost art as seemingly all manufactures are now non adjustable hub style and are usually replaced as a unit. Read up and then inspect both sides, cleaning everything, buying the right grease, proper packing and setting the free play is very important. And yes, replace that race if you change the bearing....
