Just a quick question for the group. I just finished rebuilding my bottom end with CP pistons and Crower rods. Is there a certain break-in process that should be followed before driving it hard and putting the engine under boost? I have never rebuilt an engine before and I just don't want to mess anything up.
Thanks!

Assuming the tune is safe, you'll want to actually give it some boost. Let it get fully warm before you do so and then give it some short bursts of moderate (mid teens) boost. I'm talking just a few seconds at wide open throttle like a 2nd gear pull or something. The other good thing for rings is to decel in gear. You can slowly ramp up how long it's in boost and how short the time is between pulls until you get to 1000 miles, at which point you can change the oil/filter and consider it broke in.

Shannon!
Thanks a ton for the break-in process. It is the best I have seen so far. You are a life (and engine) saver, as always.
