The car has a new Ron Francis mg 65 harness, new distributor and the car shows .7 volts on the tps the car will pulse the injectors a few times and then stop the car will try to start until the injectors stop pulsing. I have checked all my grounds

How are you verifying when the injectors are firing and when they aren't? Will it start on starter fluid?

A Noid light and yes it will start if I spray it

It's not connected to key switch crank vs run at all correct? I know a lot of people have had issues where an engine will run while cranking and as soon as they release the key it loses injector flow or spark from a bad key switch. It doesn't sound like you're saying it's like this but I want to be sure.

The purple wire on my harness is connected to a 12 bolt start signal at my starter and the orange wire has 12 volts in the run and crank position I’ve already double checked those wires. Even though the injectors stop pulsing it don’t stop firing

Also I had never heard the car run that the computer had come out of. I’m starting to think that the problem is in the computer and that I should go ahead and hook the pimp x up.

Scanning for codes is a pretty good test of ECU function as a bad ECU typically won't output codes at all.

I went to scan for codes yesterday but but my scanner has been giving me fits and freezing. I hooked up the check engine light up and shouldn’t I be able to count the codes off that and if so it doesn’t blink to give any codes

I "think" that should be the same but I've never done the check engine light method with a bad ECU so I don't know how it reacts for sure.

Now that I have switched to the pimp I don’t have any injector pulse at all I have stock injectors and have jumper jp2 and jp19 installed

Start a new thread in the PiMPx section along with a datalog of it cranking for a few seconds and a description of the previous/current issues and prior diagnostic results.
