Hey there guys! I recently upgraded my throttle body to a 70mm Throttle body using a 98 Explorer Throttle body. The TPS is different though so when I rewired it (Color matching wires) it reads 4.8 V constant in the green and Orange wire. I checked to make sure the ground wire was working and it was a good ground. What could be the issue? Thanks in advance, I can supply pictures if needed! I also have a 97 Explorer Throttle body which has a similar TPS to the SVO, would that be better to use than the 98 TPS?

You likely got the signal and constant power wires backwards.

So it wouldn't be Orange to Orange and Green to green? But Orange to Green and Green to Orange? The original owner of the car cut the TPS connector off of it and did some shady stuff so now I'm left with a full wire job and not a plug and play unfortunately.

No idea on the colors, all that matters is wire position/function.
