I got a question for all of you pros. I'm almost to the end of removing my stock engine harness, I plan on replacing it with a new pimp harness from Ron Francis. My question is I got everything ready to come out except for one wire loom running all the way across the dash to the driver's side of the car. Any idea we're the loom falls? Maybe connected to the ignition? Pretty sure it the last connection and I can get this old wires outta here.
Thanks.

The PiMP harness is an ENGINE harness, not an entire chassis harness. This means you shouldn't be removing everything under the dash. The only harness inside the firewall that gets removed is the portion that goes from the ECU to the rubber seal in the firewall (which connects to the rest of the engine harness that's under the hood). That portion is only a few feet long.

Okay that's what I thought originally. I don't know just seems like it's hung up on something. I give it another look underneath.

The wires you are referring to are for the fuel pump circuit . It is four wires that tree out from the engine harness right around the EEC relay and EEC connector. It runs behind the dash (right below the windshield and is held up by four or so round plastic clips on the firewall) and then ends up behind the driver side kick panel. It is a gray four pin connector, IIRC it is a yellow, red, black, and a white with blue or green tracer. Dont quote me as it has been a while and wire colors are subject to change on model year and other factors. Once you find the connector, disconnect it. You CAN pull the wires out from behind the dash without removing the dash. but you will need to depin the connector to do so, otherwise the connector will get caught on the clips (mentioned above) that hold the harness up behind the dash. make a reference drawing of the connector face or take pictures that way you know where each wire goes. depin the connector, tape up the wire ends with electrical tape, and you can now carefully pull the wires through on the passenger side with no damage. Now the entire harness will be able to come out through the firewall hole. repin the connector, and you are good to go.
