I’m searching for leaks in my intake to hopefully solve a rough idle. At the moment I can only find a very small air leak at the throttle body shaft and one at an injector o-ring.
The symptom I have is when I start the car cold the idle will go right below 2000rpm for about 10 secs and then drop below 1000rpm and then I’ll see the wideband go from 15 up to 18 to - - - and the car will idle really rough with small “pops” in the exhaust and will want to stall. My electric fuel pressure gauges shows about 37#. I checked timing and Its at 10d.
Could theses small leaks create this lean condition at idle?
Cheers in advance.

Stock ECU I assume?
The throttle body leaks are pretty common so that's not the problem. The o-ring leak needs to be fixed.

Yes, stock PE.
. I switch to a 8AU and have the same symptom. I agree and will buy new o-rings today. Perhaps I’m under estimating their affect because the leaks are small.

They likely won't fix the problem but they absolutely need to be fixed. When chasing poor running problems, fix all known problems first before continuing diagnostics.
