I currently have an 8 blade hx35, and have an opportunity to purchase a 7 blade if I want. I have read multiple contradicting points of views regarding the pros and cons of each. I would like to get a solid answer on which will perform better for more street use, around 350hp. Which will spool faster, etc. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!

It doesn't really change anything regarding spool or streetability as it's only the compressor wheel that is different. The fewer blades the better it performs at higher boost pressures and the more power it supports overall. Both of them will support 350hp.

I have one more question. I recently purchased a .82 A/R housing for the HX35, as i had trouble finding a smaller housing. I am now reading that this housing is much too large for my application. What are your thoughts?

Also, i purchases -4 AN line for the oil supply, and it appears to be 5/32 rather than 1/4". In your opinion, do you think this will neck it down to much and be too restrictive? THanks!

Most people run the stock exhaust housing with these engines and they are .82 or larger so it should be fine.
The Holset oil lines we sell for 2.3's is -4 AN so it's fine from that standpoint. Hopefully your line isn't rubber lined like the cheap eBay ones are.
