I have had good luck with Dynomax but I feel they are a bit on the louder side. But then I like loud.

First of all, it won't sound like a honda no matter what muffler you use.
Second, if you don't use a tailpipe, it will be loud in the car regardless of what muffler you use. The sound waves bounce off the bottom of the car and reverberate into the cabin no matter the muffler choice.

i have his full 3" turbo to tail, and i originally had no muffler and it sounded kind of like an airplane. i now have a 3" borla muffler with a turn down before the rear, and it is so loud inside its sickening, especially if you have a headache. the tail pipe is going back on as soon as my megasquirt is up and running and i have a chance to get back under it, but as for not having a tail, you WILL regret it. turn outs to the side help minimally if any was well.

To not lose significant power you have to use a straight through design (magnaflow, dynomax ultraflow, borla, etc.) so you have to decide what's more important, the "perfect" sound or not losing power because you used a chambered or reverse flow muffler.

Thats my Merk XR with the Full 3in. Stinger Exhaust, with there Magnaflow Muff. Sounds pretty good and its not loud at ALL. At idle it's pretty quiet and full throttle it gets pretty loud. And let Meinkei weld it if your not going to do it. 50$ No leaks, looks good and tucked like mine.
