hey guys i need some help a friend just bought a 88 thunderbird turbo coupe and he needs to know what fuel pressure regulator will fit his car. they want 45.00 for one at napa but he found some on summit racing for way cheaper. is there any on there that will fit his thunderbird he found this one on summit but will it fit ?" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.summitracing.com/parts/SPE-2517/? what one are you guys running the cheaper the better thanks guy??

Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator is what was recommended to me so that is what I got. I believe I found it for about $70 free shipping. Not the cheapest but it works well and has a good reputation.

the one you are looking at is for a carb not efi. if your car is efi stock fuel pressure is 36-38 pounds. go with the kirban. and unless you are over 280-300hp you should not need a adj fpr.

I doubt that he needs a regulator but if he does, the parts store unit will be the cheapest option. Autozone or similar type stores will be cheaper than NAPA as well.
