I'm installing my stinger fmic kit for my 86 turbo coupe with 90 degree rotated upper. Is the intercooler supposed to be mounted solid on the bottom and use the included brackets on the top? When I set it down where the condenser mounts the inlet and outlet line up with the round bumper supports. Are the tubes cut longer so they can be shortened as needed?

I'm pretty sure that the pipes go over top of the round bumper supports. Does the intercooler just hang from the supplies brackets or do I need to make some more? It looks like it will need a lower support too. I'm sure I can make it work but if everything I need is already there it would be easier.

You remove the condenser brackets so the bottom of the intercooler can be basically level with the bottom of the radiator support and intercooler inlet/outlet go under bumper supports. They don't move around even with no brackets so having a top bracket is plenty.

What do you normally bolt the top brackets to? Are the supplies ones made to bolt on my car?

The supplied bracket is a "universal" bracket. When we spec'd out the intercooler size/shape it came with no bracket. Now the manufacturer includes a universal bracket. There are two threaded holes in the upper radiator support (and numerous unthreaded holes) that can be used to connect that bracket it. Just requires two pieces of strap with a hole in each end.

Do the tubes stay on ok with the pipes strait on the ends, or do you normally get some form of step put on them?

They stay on fine with the t-bolt clamps.
