well after yesterday and part of today my turbo swap is complete! I must say I cannot be happier. Although it is the smaller of the two turbos I wanted, this one is without a doubt lightyears better than the tiny ihi I had. I did it without having to take the manifold off, and used the write up in the tech articles from NATO. It helped a lot! I will get pictures as soon as possible. I ran 1 of the water lines from the back of the turbo directly over it and back into the rubber hose by the valve cover, and the front water line is mainly the existing one from the ihi, with a rubber piece and a new pipe bent and flared to fit into the spot on the turbo. Add to that the $10 spent on new fittings and shazam! With some penetrating oil, and a nice set of snap-on wrences the bolts to the turbo were not as hard as they seemed. YES, the starter should come out or you will have headaches, and YES, grind the ears off on the support mount so that you can get the wrench onto the bolts better when you go to re-install the larger turbo. Other than that everything was straight forward, and WELL WORTH IT!

thank you. indeed it does. any idea what i can set my fuel pressure at so i can keep my afr in a safe range?

Somewhere between 35-50psi...seriously, that's about as close as I can guess with what I know about your car.
Your signature says: Shelf: sn95 tb, RR cam, magnaflow/turndown, zeitronix zt2 wideband, tune
Use the wideband and you'll know in less than 5 minutes how much FP is needs...

Yes I know I have to install that. The problem is, it is still in my Honda and it data logs, so there is some wiring that I need to figure out still. It is not going to be the typical put the sensor in, power, ground, done deal. At the moment, my boost gauge reads 19 psi, and my timing is set at 12* btdc. The thing runs like a raped ape compared to the other turbo. I recently found out that it had a wastegate problem of some sort, which was why it was so laggy. This one spools right off the bottom and carries all the way through! I couldnt be happier. Plus, it sounds awesome without the muffler there. I am even considering leaving it. Wednesday I am going to set the FP to around 45 psi. I am not hoping to gain any power from it, just reliability! Thank you for your help!

Don't add more fuel than it needs, you'll just lose power and wash the oil off the cylinders.
Just install the wideband and ignore the datalogging. You just need to see the readout and dial it in after a few pulls then you can put it back in the Honda.

That is what will probably happen. the Honda is for sale unfortunately, so I will have to pull the wideband out of it eventually. I would rather the thing be too rich than too lean at this point. I know there is definately still power to be made with a real tuning solution.

that is what I am ultimately aiming for. That is as best as I can get on the stock ecu anyway for now as long as I am upping fuel pressure to "tune" it,
