Thanks I know the mustangs have one and am seriously considering going to cable just for simplicitys sake cause I popped the slave off to put the shim on and that was a mistake and it wouldnt bleed again ( I think the car is just mad at me for letting it sit) so I bought a new one and its starting to get the air out but I didnt have time to finish it to night and did I mention I hate brake fluid it tastes horrible

so we got the proper amount of travel and it was still doing the same thing but I figured out what was causing all the noise in the transmission the 5-R selector broke in half and was laying on the gears between the1-2 and 3-4 synchros anybody know where I may be able to find that part because everything else in the trans is still in really good shape

Good to hear! What was the clutch fix then? Just shimming it out?

A few things the problem wound up not being so much with the clutch as with the trans. The R-5 selector was broken in half (he took the pivot out awhile back drain plug on the wrong side) The cylinder had some free play in it and the one cylinder we were using was stripped in the bleader screw area. All is well now. I have to say the clutch is overkill and pretty bad on the street but all should work out in time
