To start off, I appreciate answers to my prior and current questions. Really helps me out. 1985 svo mustang. To begin with I’m going to be purchasing your spec stage 1 clutch in the near future. I would like to be able to get away with driving my car for a few months if possible, before I do. My clutch pedal catches very high, usually this is due to the plastic adjusting quadrant from my understanding, but previous owner has replaced it with a holocomb clutch quadrant and it is still catching at the very top when I’m releasing the clutch pedal. Any suggestions? Will go into gear and shift. I will say the cable looks tight, almost as if it has constant pressure on it
To get a brief understanding before I rip the transmission out and install the spec 1 clutch, I would like to have the parts on hand so I would like to know What clutch cable do you use? Will a t-5 5.0 clutch fork work in my transmission? (Replacing for future maintenance) Will a 5.0 pivot ball work?

I never point anyone to the stage 1 clutch. It's just for stock setups and nobody I encounter that needs a clutch intends to keep it stock.
Aftermarket quadrants are supposed to be used with a firewall adjuster as the aftermarket quadrant gets rid of the adjuster. Does yours have a threaded adjuster where the cable goes into the firewall? If not, does your quadrant have a single place for the cable to grab onto or does it have multiple locations the cable can be installed at different lengths?
It shares no parts with the 5.0 stuff, everything is different including the fork, pivot, cable, clutch, TOB, pilot bearing, etc.
There are more cheap/crappy clutch cables out there than quality ones so my suggestion for the cable would be to retain the one you have until you have a reason not to. It's no easier to change while doing the clutch job than any other time so there is no reason to feel forced to do it at the same time.

Correct, does not have a fire wall adjuster and the quadrant that was put in only has 1 hook on it. And I agree, stage 2 would probably be a better choice then. As far as the transmission parts that’s good to know, more so asking so I’m not spewing out incorrect information as I intend on doing videos explaining parts for these cars and for future reference if I do run into needing any of these parts. As far as the pivot ball, etc. is there a certain place you would recommend getting them? Or is a junkyard the best bet?

I've never needed to replace any of those parts so I have no idea if they are available new or not. Is there something wrong with yours?
