Hey can you mount the IAC reverse? Finishing up my 120° intake and the IAC sticks out to much and I don't like the way it looks forward so I reversed it. Any issues with that?

Okay I'm gonna try it. I'll repost the results. My last issue is the alternator. I can't tighten the belt as the alternator hits throttle body but I think I'm just going to make a new alternator bracket and buy a smaller belt for now. The end goal is to relocate the alternator to other side. I believe it's just a ranger bracket and add a tensioner.

Why not just put a shorter belt on it without making any new brackets?
If you're referring to the Ranger bracket, I don't think the belt alignment will be correct with that.

Yeah that's what I did. I put a shorter belt on it but my original bracket has a little angled piece (hard to explain) that the alternator fan/blade would hit when I rotated it. That's why I was going to make a new bracket but I ended up just grinding down the piece on the bracket and everything is good to go. I probably won't bother with the alternator location change. I'll just go with this.
Different question about BOV location. I'm sure different opinions on this but where is the best location for the BOV? near the turbo or near the throttle body?
How come I can't post pics? its asking for a URL I can't just attached. I know I used to be able to..

Attachments are only allowed to be uploaded in the tuning sections.
We've not found a functional difference with BOV locations. We put them near the turbo because we're trying to protect the turbo, and we'd rather vent un-intercooled air rather than cool it (using intercooler capacity) and then vent it and waste that energy that was used to cool it.

Yeah most of my research here on 2.3 engines/cars has been right after the turbo. Which is how I set mine up but of course other sites and explanations identify put it near the TB. Just wanted to see what you recommend.
Thanks for the help

Got my 120° intake project complete. Now I have a high idle on start up, it settles after 5min give or take. When I tap the throttle the idle hangs about 10sec then comes down to normal. I've been fighting the hanging idle even before the switch to the 120°/front mount but it would come and go. My previous set up was ported knife edge lower and gutted upper with enlarged TB opening (Stinger product) with stock IC location. New set up is same lower with a gutted 120° that hand to be shortened for clearance and stock TB opening. I have the IC piping routed through the fender aprons down to the front mount IC. My question is can the new set up affect the idle that much? I will be uploading my tune and datalog over in the pimpx tech support forum to see if you can help me smooth it out but just wondering if these changes can effect the idle. Thanks

If it raised the idle the first thing I'd suspect is a vacuum leak.
