I have a PimpX in my 88TC now and love it. I want to clean up all the wiring in the car. I was thinking of getting the batch fire wiring harness for the engine side of things.
On the chassis side, I don’t use/have AC, heat, power locks, power seats or the radio so I will be eliminating these connections and wires. Is there anything to be aware/cautious of on the chassis side of the wiring due to some of it being integrated into the engine harness? I have the stock Electrical schematic in front of me and it seems pretty straight forward.
This car is slowly getting converted for road racing so the goal is to have everything set up through a switch panel. Gauges will be displayed through a raspberry pi tablet with gps Speedo. Any advice, links, info would be greatly appreciated

ABS and electronic ride control are both in the engine harness.

ABS and electronic ride control are both in the engine harness. Thank you; car has been converted to vacuum assist with no ABS and has coilovers all around. Does the batch fire engine harness have provisions for those? Do you foresee any issues with eliminating them? The car runs and drives fine now without; other than the ABS light being on.

No, our harness is for the engine, not ABS for Ride control. Changing the harness shouldn't change anything if you've already disabled that stuff anyway.

Hi Stinger, revisiting this thread. Does the engine harness include relays that would replace the IRCM?

Yes, it's a standalone harness that doesn't rely on external components to function.

Thank you; think this is going to be the next purchase. I have active threads on other forums and I haven’t heard from anyone about doing this. Considering what I have done to the car already, I’d like to give this a shot to clean up the engine bay
