Been getting this smell of oil latetly when I get into boost. I have a oil catch can and running from pvc to catch can and back to intake fitting. The valve cover breather I always ran it open meaning It has not been connected to vacuum in a long time but breather is there. This set up has been on for 3 years now. So I checked the cold side piping and found little oil in compressor side and more at turbo to IC. Could it be bad turbo bearing and shooting oil.

If the catch can is routed back to the intake tube then you can get some oil in it that way. If it's heavier after the turbo though then I'd suspect the turbo seal is leaking a bit.

It’s heavier on turbo side also I haven’t removed exhaust side to check oil there but I would think it would smell like burnt oil if it did. The hose going back to intake from catch can is some what dry when I checked ?

There are different seals on the intake and exhaust side of the turbo so it's entirely possible to be leaking on the intake side only. It will smoke if it's leaking from the exhaust side.
