I bought the Spartan O2 sensor controller kit. It worked fine last year. I parked my truck over the cold months and now it’s stuck at 10.2 on my wideband gauge and I checked it on tuner studio. If I unplug it it stays at 10.3. Doesn’t change.. I swapped in a used O2 that I know works and same result. I have checked wiring and it’s all good. Anyone seen issues with the controller? Thinking that’s the issue. It did get pretty cold this season but can’t think why that would just take out the controller. Any help would be appreciated.

Does it read 13.x and 16.x after key on during the calibration process?

When I cycle the key it appears to sweep 0-25? Then 10.3, it goes fast but that’s the best I could read it..

If it doesn't output the calibration sequence and it's wired correctly (which it should be since it worked fine last year) then it's likely a failed controller.

What is the correct calibration sequence for that controller? I believe it always cycled through that way since I had it? Is 10.3 a default of the system. Is the a resistance check I can perform through the controller to see if it actually bad? Thank you for your help.

I stated what the calibration sequence is above. It gives those two readings, then goes to the "live" reading after about 5 seconds. 10.3 isn't any sort of default, though when things fail it typically will read a max or min value depending on the failure mode. I'm not sure of how to physically test the controller. You can ask 14point7 if there are any tests for that if you want. I've never seen one be "good" while not displaying the calibration sequence.

Update… I emailed 14point7 and they replied very quick. Gave me some checks to do. Found my power was not sufficient to perform the calibration correct. It never performed it due to power supply issue. The ground was not great either. I did a quick overlay of wiring and calibration went just as it should. Just wanted to let you know too. I assumed wiring was good but apparently it was not from the start. I never got it to run the calibration before. I was not aware of it. Thank you Stinger for replying too. Just wanted to update about the mistakes I made from the beginning. Now need to check my tune to make sure where my A/F is really at. Lol Thanks again!!
