Okay I’m gonna try my best to explain but, I’am currently not able to connect to the ECU from Tunerstudio. I have done multiple test like Communication> Mini Terminal> jump 2 pins on adapter> open port, when I do that and type in the top box it echos back on the bottom box with the same words, I typed in the top box and let’s me know that it’s receiving data (echo back). So then I go to Communication> settings> test port failed, with ECU plug or unplug. I have also made sure the driver in device manager was set to 15200 if I can remember correctly, and still fails. Also been to FDL . Com driver if I can remember correctly but, anyways, I have manually installed the driver still no luck at all. No matter what I do it fails in Communication> settings> test port. I have done everything I could even think of, to correct this issue and still no luck.
Getting to wonder if windows 10 os causing this issue. If that is so is it telling me that I need to buy another ECU?

Meant to state this the ecu is the MS2 version. Also car still runs just need to get tunerstudio to register the ecu so I can come off E85.

Windows 10 is fine (it's what I use) and the ECU "should" be fine if it's still functioning/running the engine. I'd start by testing the black and chrome cable end to end to verify you've got 3 wires with continuity. You can also unscrew the chrome end and visually inspect the solder joints. The cable is the cause of comm issues with the first generation PiMP's the vast majority of the time.

And I’ve done that as well I should have stated that and all Connection in the silver plug is intact. At the moment only thing I could do is do a continuity test on that plug. But funny thing is it’s failing on test port no matter if the ecu side is plug in or not and that’s what got me scratching. My head.

Why would it be confusing that it fails the port test when not plugged in?
Why can you not test continuity end to end so the whole cable is tested, not just the chrome end?

Okay so I did a continuity test (serial to ECU) red and black wire fine but the bear sliver wire is losing connection on the ECU end (black plug). So I went ahead and order a new cable from y’all and hopefully that will fix the issue along with more jumpers too. Bout how long will it ship out?

It did fix my connection issue. Also I created another post bout a issue I had along time ago that never got round to even think bout getting resolved due to running issue but that’s been fix and been running really well.
