Okay I decided to try and get the Boost solenoid, to work on my MS2. Just, curious is pin 31 (pink wire) supposed to have Power (positive +) on that wire (pin 31)?
Red wire has power (positive +) as well.
“Bc I thought ground controls the solenoid”.
Also this is a ron harness that came directly from Stinger Performance!.

Pin 31 (pink wire) has power (positive +), I thought that wire supposed to be a ground (negative-) signal wire to activate the Boost solenoid when ECU commands it to come on?
Trying to figure out why i’m getting power (positive +) on both wire For BCS (Boost Control Solenoid).
I have the jumpers install in the right location per instructions.
Feels like I’am missing a step or something, but I can reassure that i have done what the installation guide stated!.

Is this a Pimp ecu? If so post in Pimp forum.
You will read 12v on pin 31 with solenoid connected if it is not being actively grounded.

Yes it’s a PIMP ecu.
So does the Solenoid need to be grounded to chassis? Also this is a stinger harness for that ecu.

So removed the red wire out of the harness and just left pin 31 hook up to the solenoid I’m not getting nothing out of that wire (pin 31)
I made sure again that the jumper install
I went in and enable The port in TS (tunerstudio)
Enable the Boost controller
Went to Test that port selected Pulse and on now I’m not getting nothing!

I told you above it checks as expected. One side of solenoid gets hooked directly to switched 12v. The other to pin 31. The ECU provides the ground. If the ECU is not grounding pin 31, you will read 12v through the coil. Any other coil on car works same way.
