I am at an impasse between the Perfect Tuning gauge and the Banks Power iDash. Does anyone have experience with either or any insight as to why you would choose one over the other? Admittedly I'am leaning more towards the Banks iDash for the button layout and slightly larger screen. But if the Perfect Tuning gauge works better with a pimp system or stands above in some way let me know.

Banks is for OBD-2 applications only as far as I know. We don't offer any PiMP's that work with OBD-2 applications. So they aren't competing products unless I missed where you can use the Banks for non-OBD-2 applications.

Banks has a no OBD 12V only model, for aftermarket ECUs that works with Megasquirt. SKU 66763 logging version and SKU 66563 non-logging version.

I'm not sure the screen is actually bigger. The PT gauge is a larger diameter (fits in the same size hole but the overall diameter is larger). I don't see anywhere that says what the screen size is on the Banks.
The Banks doesn't have the programmable LED's around the ring that you can use for a shift light, overboost alert, overheat alert, lean alert, etc.
Looks like the PT gauge offers more types of gauges/displays (numbers larger or small, histogram, max/min, etc.).
Otherwise, they are similar.
