I have a 1988 ranger that I am going to put a 2.3 turbo in. I have a 87 thunderbird turbo coupe as the donor car. I have also purchased a pimpxs to use with this swap.I have a few question. Is the thunder bird set up for sequential injection? Do I need to change injectors to use the pimpxs ( I saw the thing about high impedance on the advertisement)? There’s probably a few other things I wanted to ask about that i can’t think of at the moment.

All 2.3's are batch fire in stock form. PiMPx is set up for stock injectors (or high impedance), PiMPxs is high impedance only as we couldn't find any reason to run sequential with stock injectors.

What is needed besides the additional wires for sequential. I am guessing something has to change in the distributor to fire the injectors? Or the cam angle sensor and switch to a coil on/near plug set up?

The additional injector wires, plus an ignition signal capable of allowing sequential injection (most commonly, our CAS or a crank sensor + cam sync setup).
