Phone/ Tablet display?

Have PimpXS installed running great.. i see the digital dash display on the site but was wondering about a blue tooth so i can monitor everything without plugging into my laptop. I really don't want to install mechanical gauges if i could view on a device. I wouldn't even mind plugging a device in. i could hide the cable under the carpet or behind the dash. I was thinking a 5" or 7" tablet that I could mount low, plug it in whenever or not.

You can use a battery powered bluetooth serial adapter if you want to connect that way (serial available in the expansion connector). Or you can use an Android phone or tablet with Shadow Dash or a few other apps (wired) to view the data (with an adapter to connect the USB cable to whatever port type the device uses). There are also some other permanent display options available. Can also use any tablet that uses full Windows OS and run TS on it.

Turned the flash on. Dash is not cut/modified in any way, connected to the ECU using a USB cable.

Can you offer more details on the touchscreen? Brand and where to buy…..Is it a stereo too?

Here's the link, I bought the 2g/32g. Was under $100 to my door. It is a stereo as well, I've got over 100 songs saved on it. The sound quality isn't great, but it is acceptable.

I send data logs to my laptop via bluetooth. The dashes are uploaded through my email, which is checked via the stereo. It's basically a cheap smartphone.
