So I have both engines out and on the ground, and was considering either sending one in for porting so wondering if I can leave the TC intake in place and send the NA out for cleanup. Would make things a whole lot easier

TC intake is shorter and the valve cover is "dipped" because of it. In a Mustang either intake will work as long as you use the dipped valve cover (if you run the shorter intake). So yes, you can send off the Mustang unit now if you want, though you'll want to verify the ACT sensor exists on that intake (it may be in the airbox or intake tube instead). You'll also want to compare the location of the hoses and sensors as this stuff varies. Typically you can just swap fittings and such from one to the other but occasionally a port simply doesn't exist where you need it.

Interesting fact - the Mustang also had a dipped valve cover and the fittings etc looked to be in the same location after a quick glance - was starting to rain so did not want to get wet. Will do a proper inspection tomorrow when I take off the engine mounts, and intake

Then it's not the stock intake/valve cover.

So took a better look at the differences today, and other than one sensor being on the opposite side the appear to be the same. Brought the one that was on the Mustang home to strip it down for shipping, and will take the lower intake off tomorrow. Had to take the TC upper off to remove the fuel rail and swap it with the Mustangs as I couldnt get the dang Ford connectors to release, so just swapped the whole thing with the short fuel lines attached. Should have taken a picture of the part number of the TC sitting side by side with the Mustang

Where do i ship the intakes? My assumption is to pay the machining fees up front and attach the information to the box? Let me know the proper procedure please, and do you offer powder coating while it is there?
