How would one go about fixing a messed up shielded wire?
only the shield was chewed up. 2 wires under it are fine but a mouse chewed up the outer braid pretty good.
Would just buying another harness be better? I don't want anymore issues then I have had lol

If it's still at least partially connected on the side that they didn't chew on then simply putting a little bit of aluminum foil over that area and then maybe heat shrinking it or putting some good tape over it to hold it in place would be sufficient. Otherwise you can buy just the shielded wires if you'd like to replace them without buying a new harness.

So after further inspection... very few strands we left in tac and 1 of the 2 wires in the middle of the shielding had been chewed through and 1 was damaged. With that being said I would like to get a new one lol. I see the fully assembled expansion harness but dont see a option to add the CAS and coil harness connectors. Could those be added? Im down for winter anyway, could I send the harness in for repairs ? I would gladly pay to have the 1 shielded wire from 32 pin to cas connector replaced . even if its only a few bucks cheaper. otherwise I know I will just have a pile of wire laying around forever. until I throw it away and then I will need it lol
