On the pimpx shift, can you use low impedance injectors or only high impedance? Will be going in a 95 mustang gt auto if that matters

yeah thats what I realized after posting it. I guess I can always just wire in a resistor box. I'm almost ready to drop coin on the pimpx shift. just answering the last couple questions I have for myself. thanks!

You could do that. Hopefully the injectors you have are a quality injector and not a propane or natural gas injector being used for gas (this is what most of the cheap low z injectors over 100 lb/hr are).

no, they are actually trick flow low-z 72lb injectors that came with the edelbrock performer rpm intake I got off fb market a couple months ago for a screaming deal. since I already have them I figure, why not try to use them.

I guess my other question is about the trans controller. Is it pre programmed for the shift points or are there different files for the different trans options? Basically I have the stock aode right now but plan to swap to an explorer 4r70w when it finally blows and they have different shift points so I know that will need addressing eventually. How would that work?

You tune trans behavior like you tune the engine. You adjust up-shift points, line pressure, lockup points, downshift points, WOT shift RPM, etc. for each gear.

I wonder if there is anything online about what the stock shift points and such actually are? I'd prefer to just set it to whatever factory is and forget it.
