depends on what you want to do with your car different intake setup's work different some better for drag some are better for street. your best bet for a good answer is to post what your goals are for the car. the car iam building had the stock 4 inline lower intake but we replaced it with the 4 square lower intake. we then knifed edge and ported it to mate to a 1 inch throttle body spacer.where useing aa 70mm throttle body. where going to use this setup to just to see what happens.

Agreed to some extent. The stock intakes in ported form can work just fine for a majority of people. Matter of fact that's what I'm running on my SVO that should be making an easy 400 rwhp when I'm finished tuning it. Knowing what you are trying to do with your SVO will help to answer the question further.

i cant remember what the which one is which, but isnt it short runner are good for drag and long runners are better for street. short runners will make more toque low but less hp in the high . am i remembering this right. thank good iam just a welder /metal fab guy and my co owner went to uti.

Short runners are for high rpm, long runners are for lower rpm/torque. The length of the runners should match the rpm your cam peaks at as well. Stock cams are for torque...

hi guys well am building it for the street but it might see the track every once and a while i have a big turbo, manifold, injectors, intercooler, bov, wastgate for it already but all am missing is intake so i could go ahead and make my intercooler piping. its not going to be a drag car just something to take out on the weekends and enjoy. many people have told me to just leave the stock intake and t.b. but i want to avoid running the piping all the way around. my stock upper intake is already ready ported. am going to take some pics of my stuff and put it on later so u guys could see.thanks for all ur help let me know what u think.

Well, just rotating the welding your current upper intake, or buying one already rotated is your cheapest way to avoid running tubing around to the stock location. www.bo-port.com rotates intakes.
