What mods do I have to make to get a t04e or an hx35 to fit my stinger centermount header? Do you guys offer some kind of adapter?

If the T04E has a "normal" sized housing, it will fit without any mods (as evident by the 61mm unit on my SVO). An HX35 needs another 4 bolt T3 flange stacked on top of the current one to get enough clearance for the compressor housing.

The compressor housing on my t04e hits the header tube so im gonna need a spacer for it and I dont have an hx35 yet, thats still wishful thinking. also does the oil feed and return need to be vertical on the center mount header? right now mine is horizontal but I wasnt sure if the oil sitting in the turbo would cause leaks. Thanks

Is it a chinese turbo? Also remember the compressor housing clearance changes depending on how you rotate the housing.
Yes the feed needs to be on top and the return on the bottom, otherwise it won't drain since it's gravity feed out of the turbo.

Yes its an ebay turbo. Im sure its chinese because of how cheap it was. I wasnt sure on the oil lines I have a -4 feed and a -10 return. Also my stinger down pipe came in monday and when I go to bolt it on it hits the floor of the car. it will bolt up but Im afraid that when the motor rocks side to side it will put too much stress on it. Is this a common thing? Its in a 92 mustang.

My DP cleared easily the bottom of the car with stinger center mount header, but that is with a stock SVO turbo, so maybe it's the spacer bringing it up too high?

No, it's a known problem with the China turbos. For some unknown reason they rotated the exhaust housing bolt pattern about 10 degrees so it rotates the downpipe into the floor when installed. Saw it happen on a local car and after the guy complained, I had him bring it over and I installed it on my SVO to show it fit perfect with a non-chinese turbo.

Oh ok, that makes sense. I still have the stock turbo so maybe ill just use it. Thanks for all the advice I greatly appreciate it. I wish I would have found your site before I got started on my car. I was just about to give up on it when I found you guys. Thanks again.
