Has anyone ran one with one of these ? I am thinking of getting one for my Fairmont 5.0 single turbo project which will be a daily driver and was curious how the pedal pressure was or if I should just get stage 3 ?

What kind of power will you be making?
Do you plan on really hitting gears hard?
What trans exactly?

Well planning for 450-500 . I have several T5's laying around just figured I could go through the pile . I dont planning on beating it to death every day but only wont to buy the clutch once .No plans for the drag strip in the future for it either . I had a centerforce df in my Xr and could drive through the clutch at 50 mph when boost would come in but worked great from a dead stop . It would high side the clutch on the roll for about 5-8 seconds then grab .

The Stg 3 5.0 clutch has stock like pedal pressure, the 3+ is a bit heavier but still lighter than a high performance 2.3 clutch.

I have several T5's laying around just figured I could go through the pile. I said that too until I went through the stack because the clutch was too badass. When using one of those really strong clutches they really hit the gears hard. A tad bit of built in slip certainly helps things survive, just not to the extent you had before. Id go with the stage 3 spec as a maximum level. The holding power will certainly be there.

Thanks for the help fellows this will be the first turbo motor with a manual trans I have had in awhile . I had a spec stage 3 in a 429 Galaxie which had very hard pressure but I think it was due to having to make a fe Z bar work on the 385 series motor the geometry was off a little . I always had good luck with centerforce Df untill the Xr which was the first non stock turbo motor with a manual trans . Stinger I just ordered the clutch kit and a shifter thanks again for the info .
