To build a "standard" MS2 yes, to build one for your car to use the factory harness, no. To build an MS2 to run your car...not enough info to provide that answer.

That kit will do SD, you just need to make sure everything is there for a 2.3 Ford. You also will need the eec-iv adapter if you want to use the factory harness.

No, that's one thing you'd definitely need. For further details, you'd be best off to talk to DIY about it.

You need to better define what it is you want to accomplish.
-how much boost do you want to run (that kit has a 22psi map sensor) -Do you want new wiring, or do you wish to retain factory wiring? -what ignition system do you intend to run (stock dizzy, distributorless,etc....) -How much work are you comfortable doing yourself? -do you already own a wideband? If so which one?

woah, hats off to you guys (wess and shannon) for giving support and help to someone that is attempting to cheap out on a product that yall offer. Yall have more composure and patience than i do lol. that being said, good luck trying to figure that DIY kit on your own joe, but personally i would do as stinger states and find help on the DIY site, as some might find what you are doing slightly disrespectful.

I guess I don't really view it like that. Depending on the original poster's actual goals, a DIY kit may serve him well. There is not one size fits all solution, but we aim to provide a very good one size fits all EEC Iv solution.

well i guess i just looked at it like if the OP didnt even know what they need to buy to make a megasquirt work in their TF, than that same person attempting a DIY kit was an effort in futility. maybe i am being a pessimist LOL. Yall have pretty much made the MS system as simple and plug and play as possible (from how it sounds anyways). What i am getting at is it seems the OP is trying to save a few bucks but has no idea what they are getting into. end of thread hijack lol
