I have been looking at options, was thinking of going with the center mount header, fmic, a new turbo with a vband flange on it but I wanted to make sure beforehand I am getting the correct size. It will have to be welded onto the downpipe.
Is it 3" OD on the exhaust? Is anyone running a setup like this?

A 3" v-band is measured in ID, not OD...if that's what you're asking.

I would be sending it to you to be welded on. This is the description: T304 Stainless Steel V-Band Flange Assembly For 3" O.D. Tubing

Yes, exhaust tubing is "universal" so it's always spec'd as OD, not ID.
We do sell v-bands fyi.

Fits fantastic after some trimming. Will have to make a custom water line since the steel line to the heater core does not fit. The compressor housing clears the header with a millimeter to spare. Those of you running the header - how did you run the oil return? I have it snaked through between the header tubes and the turbo flange.

With my factory SVO turbo I also have the oil return from Stinger, and his header, and it's run between #1 and #2 primaries on the header.

Our FAQ section of this forum has pictures of the oil lines installed to help those who don't know how they are supposed to be routed.
