What's the center to center measurement of the "U" bend now with the section in the middle of it? Looks similar in size to the extended U bend we use for the 87-88 TC FMIC kits.

I don't know center to center because its on the car. But from inside edge to inside edge of the u bend it is 11.5".

OK, that should make the center to center 14" then. Thanks.

Note that we cut the lower bumper and moved the intercooler forward so AC condensor would fit. The bumper is cut 2" deep on the ends and then straight across (see picture ealier in this thread). Our bottom AC condensor brackets were modified to move AC condensor back up against the radiator support. We have a 1/4" gap between AC condensor and intercooler. So a non-AC car where the intercooler sits up against the radiator support would need a 2" narrower u bend or the cold side intake pipe would sit too far back. I think a 12" center to center u bend would probably work for both AC and non-AC cars. Although the AC car would need the lower radiator hose cut a little shorter to completely clear but that is easy to do.
The other thing to note is our intake is a perfect 90 degrees up/down angle wise just like stock. And it was shortened about 1". This makes things challenging for you because not every vendor rotates the same way.
In case anyone out there is wondering the serpentine belt is stock length.

Stinger hooked us up with a 14" center-to-center cold side u-bend pipe. We had to trim some excess length off but other then that the fit is perfect: Under the car:
