I know Konis are direct replacement for my 84 svo. Is there another way to put on other brands. Please respond with ideas and er pricing. Thanks

The only difference between all of the aftermarket fox body struts (aside from their internal valving and adjustment options) is the width of the spindle mounting pad. The 5.0 and 2.3 versions are different thicknesses. The 2.3 (and pre-86 5.0) spindle is wider than the 87+ 5.0 Spindle and all the aftermarket struts that are for 5.0's use this thinner spindle mount. The spindle mount thickness on the SVO is the same as 87+ 5.0 but the mounting holes are not parallel to the strut body like the V8 spindles are. They are offset. This means they will bolt on but you'll need adjustable caster/camber plates to align it. SVO Specific struts of course bolt up fine.
