I don't have a definitive answer since there are multiple different stock a/c compressor and line configurations on 2.3T engines/cars. If the lines aren't touching the header, they are fine (if they are steel). If they are rubber, you need at least 1/2" clearance and it wouldn't hurt to put some foil heat shield on it.

Hello stinger i have been doing some thinking and i dont think this header is going 2 work out for me. I would like 2 send it back. Its just i dont want 2 lose my a/c and the dumb plumming is very very difficult. Theres no room like the mustang. It hasnt beenstarted up or anything just bolted up. I waited a month or 2 for this and its not going to work 4 me.

There is a 15% restocking fee on returns. If you're ok with that, and the gasket is still intact and the hardware is all there, a return can be done.

Hello 15% is ok. I didnt see any hardware with this header. I went to ace hardware and bought bolts. Maybe i didnt check the box good but i didnt see any hardware. I was going to ask you about that. I will check again thanks!

There is hardware, it's the 4 bolts for the turbo flange, wastegate bolts/nuts, and washers for both. They were in the gasket bag when it left here.

I used 10mm header bolts from Stage 8. Got them from Summit.

if ur using stock location down pipe do u still use the flex pipe on dump tube and down pipe? Thanks If you're using a stock location downpipe then you don't have a Stinger Header which means the question isn't applicable to this thread and the answer would be dependent on the instructions from the manufacturer or your stock location manifold/header.
