I'm really new to 2.3T, but not totally clueless to working on cars. But I haven't messed with much turbo stuff.. I have an 88 merkur with a turbonetics t3/t4 on it, and plan on running the center mount header from stinger and a tial 38mm WG.
Here is where I am confused, what does stinger sell as a downpipe, and do they sell a pre-made atmospheric dump tube. Thanks in advance.

Yes but I don't want to go buying what I think is the correct tubing only to be dead wrong. With the setup I provided (t3/t4 with a tial 38 WG and your center mount header), what downpipe and atmospheric dump tube do you sell for my setup.

That would depend on what type of exhaust housing your turbo has (5 bolt, 3 bolt, v-band) and whether or not it's a Chinese knockoff (less than $400 new) or a genuine name brand turbo ($600+ new). If it's 5 bolt and not Chinese, our $135 header downpipe is what you need.
You don't need a dump tube to dump to atmostphere so we don't sell anything for that application.

The ideal solution to minimize stress on the header's wastegate flange is to dump it back into the downpipe and use a flex pipe in the dump tube to account for expansion/contraction.

Hello does it matter where u put the flex pipe on the down pipe? I mean higher or lower on the pipe. Thanks!!

There should be only one place it fits and that's in the long section that runs horizontal after the 90 degree bend (this is referring to the flex pipe in the dump tube like I mentioned above, not the downpipe).
