If this question has been answered before, my apologies.
I have the Stinger T3 elbow 3" downpipe with flange and connection swivel.
I'm amazed of how many "custom" exhaust shops where I live state there's no way to customize the end of the elbow to attach to the downpipe. One wants to cut the DP flange off and weld the pieces together. NO.
What is the best way to modify this piece so I can attach it to the DP.
Please explain in exhaust terms due to I might have to go out of town and have it done at another "custom" exhaust shop.

It's kinda confusing the way you worded it for me at least what you have....
If you have the the 3" down pipe with the swivel fit , you use the stock elbow that was bolted to the turbo as is.... Did you buy the elbow that has a section of 3" 90 welded to it?

I have the elbow with 3" 90 welded on. I have a picture. Just have to figure out how to post it.

So you have our 3" T3 elbow like this: And the standard 3" downpipe like this: Correct? If so, you need one of our 3" v-band assemblies. You weld one of the flange to the elbow, cut off the downpipe ball flange, weld the other flange to the downpipe, then clamp it together like this: We typically sell the downpipes without the reducer and ball flange welded on for those who are using them with the 3" elbows.

You are correct sir. Those are the ones I purchased. I was curious on why my came with the reducer and ball flange. I guess because I had ordered the downpipe before I ordered the 3" elbow. Is your 3" v-band assemblies in your stinger website?

Correct, if not ordered together, we have no way of knowing that you plan to use it with a 3" elbow.
They are on our site in the "universal parts" section.
