I'm gonna be using the 5.0 adapter plate with my 2.3 and was wondering that since I'm switching to a 5.0 bell housing can I use the 93 mustang 5.0 high torque mini starter that they come with from the factory.

Yes you can. They are the same between the 4cyl and 8.

Alright cool....I love that starter it's pretty powerful and it's lightness well

Yeah, that was my biggest reason for running it, plus it gives you a little more room when running a custon DP like me.

Not to mention a low compression 2.3 and a 157T (or in my case 164T) flywheel with a high torque starter, you can just about start it on a 9V battery. lol
